Want to be “CRAFTY” but not sure where to start?
My name is Patricia Pratt and I am the owner of Crafty Hippo Creations. I have always had a love for crafts and enjoyed creating all different types of crafts. Previously I’ve sold at craft shows, to family and friends, and Marketplace. It has always been a dream of mine to bring the joy of creativity to others in a workshop type setting.
My goal is to offer a learning type of environment to anyone who has the desire to get involved with crafts; regardless of knowledge, experience or creativity level. In addition to creating a take home project(s) at each workshop, I want each participant to gain knowledge on new techniques, products that can aid in making crafting easier or overall just a fun experience crafting with others. Another passion of mine is to try and create projects that are affordable. I want anyone and everyone who has a desire to craft to be able to… I will always price to projects as fairly as possible. I didn’t create Crafty Hippo Creations to become rich, my goal is to share my love of crafting with others.
With the help of my husband my dream has come true and I now have a craft studio that he’s built onto our existing home. It’s not huge, but can comfortably fit 12 people. I am super excited and proud of how the studio has turned out and look forward to sharing it with all of you!
All workshops will be held at my craft studio in Allendale. Since I still have bills to pay, I need to work my “normal” job, so workshops for the most part will typically take place on weekends. Workshop prices will include ALL necessary supplies and instruction to be able to create a take home project. I have a love for all types of mediums, so the crafts/techniques will vary from workshop to workshop. Please take a look a upcoming workshops and join me for some crafty fun!
